Learn the joys of this Japanese healing modality. From this class you will learn the hand placements for administering Reiki on yourself and others. You will also learn of Reiki's history and origin as well as the importance of taking care of one's self and others energetically. You will receive a Reiki 1 manual which includes a section on Psychic Protection. In addition, you will receive a "Reiki 1 Attunement." When you take Reiki 1, the course includes: spiritual healing principles; guided-imagery meditation; psychic protection basics, Reiki 1 attunement; self-treatment, basic chair protocol, and table protocol. You will also receive a Reiki 1 certificate of completion and a manual to take home. Please be advised that you will be asked to fill out a questionnaire at the end of the class, in order to provide constructive feedback for future events. Registration and prepayment is required no later than two days in advance of class. This is non-refundable and not transferable to another date or class. $225
